Do you have a 'theme' for your nursery stuff/baby things in general?

i dont really have a nursery theme but i know his toddler theme is going to be toy story :happydance:

My nursery theme is gonna be Disney Films from the golden age (Lion King, Little Mermaid etc)
I've decided to buy my baby stuff later on in my pregnancy.

my nursery theme is snug as a bug by kidline. i decided i didnt want to wait until after shes born to do it but i didnt want to risk doing it girly incase she turned out to be a boy.
ive also been going for the fisher price rainforest stuff, i love how colourful it is.

ours is winnie the pooh :)

I've bought some winnie the pooh receiving blankets, a beanie and booties, and a stuffed tigger. at walmart they have a stroller, carseat, bouncer, rocker, playpen, and crib sheets that all have same green with pooh characters print! can't wait to start stocking up :)

we like pooh because its gender neutral, so if we get all of the stroller and carseat and etc. we can use them for our future children if they're not the same sex, so we won't have to go and buy more. also pooh is classic and clean and cute without being too cutesy.. no offense to anyone who likes these characters, but we both agreed on no tinkerbell, disney princess, bob the builder, etc.. none of them.

also if it is a girl, we'll definitly buy some pink clothes and keepsakes and things, but we both agree we don't want an overwhelming amount of girly pink things.

i dnt have a theme for my son =/
but i picked out a nice beddinq set

i also picked out this set that is like the same colors of the room from target from the melbourne collection and it comes with the swinq; hiqh chair; car seat; stroller; and play pen

My theme for my son was winnie the pooh, and for my daughter I did precious moments. Not sure what we'll do for this one. I'd like something classic and simple. It all just depends on the sex.

If its a girl were doing lady bugs, if its a boy safari animals. :) tho we will be in an apartment so we cant paint the walls or anything.

mines a mixture of winnie the pooh, and green and yellow stuff, i wish i had done giraffes lol.

I have my lil girls room decorated in apples and trees. here's a few pics I have...but it's not completely finished...My hubby drew the tree but I painted it and free handed the leaves, all the letters on the wall i painted and the lightswitch cover...umm, the quilt was made by my MIL before she passed in 2007, and the bumper pads and crib skirt were made by my momma. It's almost finished though!:thumbup:
