Do you like the name George?

We're so stuck for a boys name! Everytime we decide after a few Days we don't like it. OH is stuck on George and won't entertain any other name, I like it but not sure I love it.

So we will have a jack and george..

Is George an old name?

I think its fine, round here most people go by the nickname Geordie (god only knows why as Geordie is a descriptive of local people lol)

My father is George, and so are my two grandfathers. I have been all over Hubby to get on board with the name. Trying to use the argument of the kid will have your last name give me something to bring from my family.

I am happy with a little George or a Georgia.

My nephew is a George, he's 15 now...it really suits him. Georgeous George as he's affectionately known. I love it....We called him Georgie a lot when he was a baby.

Thats good to know, Thats one hurdle ive got, i cant visualise George as a teenage name? But there was George Sampson the dancer as well ... Does George like his name, does it get shortened?
