DS currently has one bottle of stage one milk at bed time in addition to BF on demand. But he's 8 months now and could be on follow on milk. So far I haven't moved him onto it thinking that since the rest of his milk feeds are breast feeds I should keep him on something "gentle".....but the boy eats Madras and everything else going so I'm not sure he really needs to stay on first milk. He tried some follow on milk recently and was fine with it.

Are there actually savings to be made by switching to Follow on? I know that from an advertising/ promotion point of view they are allowed to put it on special offer and give you points where as they are not allowed to with first milk. But does this equal savings in the real world?

Also night time milks? Any one have any stories about night time milk to share?

I have about 2 days worth of formula left and need to decide what to buy next.
