I had my first consultant appointment 2 weeks ago and the doctor was asking me about my periods. At what age I started, if I'm regular, have they changed at all recently. I was not well on the day and was very very anxious about the appointment, and to be honest was finding at hard to remember my own medical history let alone anything else.
Since the appointment I have had time to think, and when I do think back my periods have changed. In the past 2 years they have become more painful and the flow is not bright red but dark red/brown, turning to a kind of brown sludge (sorry, tmo), right at the end. I am sure thay used to be bright red for at least a few days.
I am now worried that I have something wrong or am going through an early menopause or something. Do you think I should be worried?
Thanks
