i would not want him seing me or my child and would be looking to have his parent rights removed and a restraining order put into place until the child was 18.

Honestly,I would still let him see the child.

Him being a horrible boyfriend/partner does not necessarily mean he's going to be a horrible dad.And I assume social services will make sure the visits are supervised anyway.

I have to agree with this.

He may actually be a very good Dad and unless hes deemed a danger to the child, he will get some sort of access albeit supervised.

Yup I agree.

No way you have every reason to not want this man to have access to your child.
Lets look at the facts

1.He threatened to kill the child if its a girl

2.He tried to bully you in to termination

3.He RAPED you

how can anyone think he will be a good dad? and after hearing this who on earth would be happy handing their child over to this man? he is obviously not right in the head! He could do anything to that baby to get at you.

I'm all for dads having access to their kids, but not someone who has threatened such a nasty thing.

You need to let social service and police know of what he has said/done and keep a diary of events.

The likelyhood is that worst case scenario he will have supervised visits x
