Hi guys so my cycles are every 24-25 days i spot 2 days before and my breasts leak sometimes.

i went to the drs yesterday to ask if my cycles were healthy and she said they sound healthy and regular.

ive been ttc since december. I came off mercilon in december and tbf some months weve barely done the deed as partner is away.

weve had about 2 or 3 good months this being the 3rd.

tried having more sex at different times of the day.

Have been using ov sticks this month and they were string lines last night but we did not have sex. We did the day before and the day before that..

doc says 6-12 months for a 25 year old so if im not pregnant in 4 cycles ill be going back for a blood test.

i hope we get there soon.

How long is your lp? Just wondering as your cycles seem a little on the short side. My friend has a similar thing, short cycles and spotting before her period...she's seeing the doctor next week, but then she has been trying a while and is almost 35.

Fingers crossed it happens for you soon. xx

Im not sure i had ov cramps yesterday and the egg white cm on sunday. I also had a pos ov test yesterday. Im due on af in 11 days. Os that not normal? X

From what I read your lp should be 12-14 days long, 11 days might be ok though. I think there's a vitamin you can take to lengthen it, but I can't remember which one.

I've seen alot on here about shorter lp's, before I started ttc I didn't even know that everyones lp is a different length.

xx

Cookie is right to ask about your luteal phase and if it is 11 days that could be a problem. Implantation happens on average 10 dpo give or take a day so if your spotting already (losing your lining) when the baby is trying to implant you may have issues getting a sticky bean like I did. Implantation doesn't happen in a quick minute it can take a couple of days so having at least a 12 day luteal phase gives you the best odds. This isn't to say that women haven't been pregnant with shorter luteal phases but it isn't the norm. I added a couple of days on with vitex but mine was VERY short...8 days when I started charting and actually realized how long it was. I ended up using progesterone cream from O until AF to get it to 14 days finally. I did use a vitamin b-100 complex which is the supplement a lot of women use to lengthen the luteal phase but I think my hormonal imbalance needed a bigger punch as it didn't work well enough for me. Good luck!

Hi, I'm just wondering where you are that the doctors will see you after 6 month TTC? I'm 26 and DH and I are on cycle 7 and we were told not to see a doctor until after 12 months when I asked about it at an appointment?

We haven't had any known problems yet though so we may be different in that way. I was just wondering :)

Oh right uve all worried me now. She said everything was healthy. Well if i cant fall pregnant then theres not much i can do other than accept it.

My dr said six months to a year xx

My lp is 11-12 days after ov so its about average give or take 24 hours

I am usually a 26/27 day cycle and can ovulate as early as CD 8. I conceived the first try each time so shorter cycles doesn't necessary mean an issue but if I were you I would BD as soon as AF leaves :)

Yeah ive used ov sticks and i got a pos on cycle day 13 two months in a row ive felt ov cramps on the same day. That gives me 11 12 days before af so its actually ok just at the low end. The dr will do blood tests in a few months if not so all i can do is try lol. X

I agree with pp standard protocol is 12 months not 6 and ive know people have to try for over 2 years... where the hell do you live that they will see a healthy 25 year old after just 6 months? (which is well within the normal range for getting pregnant)

The uk and thats what my dr said. Weve been trying since december. I respect everyones opinions on here but the doctor said i sound fine. She was the one who said ov should be around day 12-13. Which gives me 11-12 days before af. Im not going to look into my Lp too much as it gets obsessive.

ill be honest my af is due in 7 days. Im not symptom spotting and ive noticed nothing. Yet for the last 5 months ive been noticing bloating, breast changes etc

like everyones said now just have sex and relax stop calculating and let nature take its course. Maybee the obsession with perfect timing has caused it to stop it happening.

im determined to just enjoy for the next 5 cycles and if not the dr can test my blood and then i will know for sure if i have a problem

good luck girls xxx
.

Good luck to you too and hop you get your bfp :)

Hi Hun,

If your Luteal phase (between ov and menstruation) is 10 days or less, I would recommend going to an acupuncturist and doing Chinese herbs. They work wonders if you have a slightly strange cycle! X

I know here ( I am in the US) my doctor told me if I used the Clearblue Fertility Monitor and was not pregnant in 6 months I could see a fertility specialist, with out the monitor she said it can take a healthy couple up to a year....(I was 30 at the time of this discussion though!)

I don't think OP has any issues with her LP, I would just baby dance and see how it goes, you may be ovulating on the early side so I would BD from CD 11 to CD 15 every other day :thumb up: But thats just me and what I learned from the Fertility Monitor...lol

Thanks girlies think different docs work slightly different x
