I went to the doctors 2 weeks ago about trying to get some tests etc and he was really dismissive, just told me I was young (I'm 26) and to just wait it out, one day it will happen!

I have PCOS and my periods are really long and irregular, been TTC for 11 months now without success. I have started to try and lose weight and also take my BBT every morning. I am on Metformin and Agnus Castus.

What do you think I should be asking my doctor? Could you please look at my chart, do you think my temps. are to low and what would cause a low temp?

Sorry for all the questions its just I have to wait 3 weeks for my doctors appt. I want to make sure I cover everything I need to and I know you ladies would of had experiance of this and can guild me.

Thank you xx

Do you know what I am so sick of hearing that docs are saying this to people!! Just because you are young doesn't mean to say that you want a baby any less than an older person or that there is any less chance of there being a problem! :hissy: sorry for that rant but I think this is so out of order by people who should be helping!

I think if it has not happened in the past, you should ask for CD21 blood tests to make sure you are ovulating with taking the metformin. I presume you have had an u/s scan to diagnose the PCOS? If not I would ask for one of these to clarify the PCOS diagnosis and for LH and FSH blood tests. I would then enquiry about clomid as well to help with oing as this is something that is prescribed to people with PCOS regularly.

This is all I can think of at the mo so I hope it helps!

Good luck :hugs:
