Stupid pop up - it pops up, and you can see the 'x' to close the ad for about 2 seconds, but by the time you go over to click on it, it's GONE and it's blocking every screen. Incredibly annoying. Anyone have any suggestions? I wasn't sure where to ask for help on this one. there's no way to get rid of it!

MASSIVELY annoying but I figured out how to get rid of it, if anyone is curious.

I believe it's a programming issue - when they display the ad, it scrolls, and resizes, and the 'x' disappears. If you right click on it and choose "zoom in" and then right click again and choose "zoom out" you can see the x and close it. but every time the page refreshes, I have to do these 2 steps to see everything or post. it's probably one of the most annoying ads I have ever seen.

Hope this helps someone.

also - Right click and choose "SHOW ALL" will let you see the 'x'...

Can't you right click on it in the bar at the bottom of the screen (is it called the task bar?) And click close? That's how i usually get rid of pop ups

It didn't show up there. It wasn't a typical pop up. it was over lapping the web screen, but not a regular pop up window. it just blocked the pages (it was about 1 inch high but went the length of the web page). anyhow i was able to close it :)

That sounds massively annoying. Disable popups and install adblocker

Hi,

I know its frustrating but should you have future problems in the future could you please take a quick look at the other topics to see if the problem has already been reported and add your feedback to that.

There is a thread opened here:
