earlier we came back from tesco jack was in his car seat & he was moaning a little so i carried on putting shopping away hubby made him a bottle even though i thought he aint due bottle till about 4.30 this was 4pm & it would of been 3 hrs , but he has been teething so i gave jack to hubby for minute while his bottle was cooling & he was really crying at this point & went red & was holding breath at the same time for like about 10 secs really scared life out of hubby & me too , i put him up to bed for an hr as he was really tired to & now im paranoid & i keep checking on him now . violet x

if he does it again (hopefully not) pat his feet firmly and blow on his face. I think it is quite common for little ones to do this but 10 seconds is quite a long time really.

my lo does it soemtimes when she really really upset, i just blow gently in her face.

My baby has never done this but I have heard it is quite common. x

yeah sometimes they get so upset that they can't breath. As said, just blow on their face, it should work instantly.
