I had a growth scan done at 32 weeks and it showed than my son's growth has dropped around 20% in 4 weeks. He had gained weight but not nearly as much as he needed to. He is now on the 3rd-4th percentile. I've got to go into hospital twice a week for continuous cardiotocography monitoring (CTG) and have a doppler scan (a scan see if my placenta is working normally) each week and then a growth scan every other week.

I have also got to have steroid injections this week to mature his lungs in case he needs to be delivered early.

Did anyone else have anything similar to this and if so when did you deliver?

I had to have all this with Sapphira and I delivered at 39+4 when I was induced!

I was induced at 39+3 and delivered on 39+4.

Good luck and try not to worry!

I had this issue 20 weeks on - by 24 weeks my little guy had already dropped under the 5th percentile. By 27 he was 2nd percentile; essentially he hadn`t gained any weight in weeks. Too little bloodflow due to the placenta not forming properly. He was born by planned c section at 27+0. He had the weight of a 23 weeker, 1lb4oz. A bit more pronounced case heh.

Just read up on iugr (intra uterine growth re tardation) - there are several other fine ladies who had this also and went on to give birth to thriving, healthy babies ! You`re already at 32 weeks, things are looking great! *hugs*
