I know there have been a few posts about fitting strollers and prams in small cars and wanted to ask specifically about minis. I drive one and am a little nervous about how everything will fit. I love my little car and am still paying on it so am not looking to get a bigger car just yet. So! Those of you that drive a mini, or similar sized car, what kind of stroller do you have/are getting??? I like the uppababy vista at the moment... haven't tried it in the trunk/boot yet but when we folded it in the store, it *looked* like it would fit!

Thank you so much for your help!

Can't really help. I did have a Cooper S, but got rid of it when I got pregnant. It was uncomfortable to drive and I thought I'd never fit everything in it. Was sad to see it go though, especially as I'm now in a 5 door Astra - Yawn!

Mee!! :D
I love my car too much so will just have to cope. My little set up for the mini is maxi cosi isofix base, maxi cosi car seat and for the pram i have a bugaboo bee

I considered getting the Maxi Cosi Loola pushchair, that also fits in the mini.

I've just done the same yesterday. I really want a SilverCross Classic Sleepover so there is no way that will fit in my lovely Mini One. Just pxed for a Mazda 3 - strangely I really like it and although sad to see Mini go don't feel too bad.

Thank you all for your responses! PinkEmily, I'll check out the bugaboo bee (I've heard a lot about it but haven't seen it in person) and maxi cosi stuff. Its good to have somewhere to start. Thank you again :)

The silver cross surf is supposed to fit. Personally I'd take the car to the nearest mothercare or pram shop and see what actually fits.

My car is a bit bigger and I took my boot dimentions and tried to work out what would fit, but then I went to the pram shop and tried a couple of them in it. I had to take one wheel of both the surf and the m&p sola.

Thanks tommyg :) I agree that actually trying them in the car is the safest bet. Me and OH need to devote some time to doing that, time is ticking!
