Orion??

My other sons name is James..do you think Orion is too unusal to go with James...this seems to be the only name DH and I can agree on but still have doubts about it :dohh:

I embrace all your opinions :flower:

Massive thanks in advance ladies :flower:

It's not my taste, but thinks it goes well with James.

Hmmmm im not sure it goes with james....seems too different.
Are you after a unusual name then?x

i dont like it im afraid, but thats just my opinion :flower:

It reminds me of the car... I'd say to maybe go for something a little more traditional to go with your LOs name x

I think it sounds nice but it's very exotic whereas James is very traditional. If it was me I'd go for something traditional for baby boy 2 as well. Something like Jacob, John, Samuel, George... I personally love Harold (Harry).

Thats what I was thinking it was a lil too unusual to go with James :flower:

I am not looking in particular for something unusual we just both liked it :) Its so difficult with family babies and close friends children to pick a name that doesnt match thiers! Jacob, John, Harry, Sam, Benjamin, Matthew, Max, Daniel, Joshua are all off the cards :(

I don't like it sorry hun, plus i don't think it goes well with James.

I like the name, but dont think it goes with james :)

What about just Ryan? (I'm bias because it's my son's name, but people have misheard his name a couple of times and thought I said Orion. It's quite similar, but not as different to James as Orion is.)

yes i like Ryan but i think DH likes the fact that Orion is that bit different...dont think the men think the same as us women we have quiet traditional names too so Orion would sound WAY out there

Personally, My elder sister has a very traditional name. I on the other hand have a very unusual name. Nobody has ever said that we don't go together :) I say if you like the name then go for it :) Good Luck X

I like it; I wouldn't worry too much about the boys having names that 'match' i mean they arent always going to be together are they?

I know a Ryden which is a nice alternative

I too wouldn't worry about if it matches as you everyone may be saying both names now but my middle name hardly ever gets used

I also don't think a traditional name has to be matched to traditional or unusual to unusual.

I think its a nice name, not to my taste but think it goes fine with James as much as a middle name needs to. Oh and out of all the suggested alternitives, (ryan, rylan, ryden) I prefer Orien.

Good luck with your decision x

I like it, and I really dont think having matching names is important at all. I like names because I like them so far I have Morgan (boy), Naomi-Mae, Honey and Kaysie Blossom, each picked because I like them.

i've not heard of this one before but i think its lovely and different but not too different that it becomes wierd.
And i think it sounds lovely with James.

xx
