does anyone know anything about hcg levels?

Hi Ladies,

Wondering if any ladies on here know anything about Hcg levels or have a look at mine for me

1st HCG at 14dpo at 3pm ......34

2nd HCG at 16dpo at 3.30.......60

3rd HCG at 20dpo at 1.30.......185

from the 2nd HCG result to the 3rd should have been around 240 as it was 4 days but the blood test at 20dpo was done 2 hrs earlier

Would this make a difference...midwife has spoke to consultant who said he wont make a decision at the moment and repeat on Thurs

I previously had ectopic in aug and lost left tube so i appreciate any info or advice.

I wish I had advice but I am in the same situation as you.

Pregnant after 2 miscarriages and an ectopic. I should be roughly 5wks. I have also been spotting since I found out I was pregnant so roughly a week, so I went to the ER over the weekend to see if I was having another ectopic. My left tube has also been removed and I am petrified of losing the right one. They ruled out an ectopic as they could see something 3mm in size in my womb. That was a relief! When I got my bloodwork back, it had gone from 409 to 700 in 3 days. This convinced me I was having another miscarriage but the nurse in the ER said not to jump to any conclusions just yet. She said that because the blood was tested in different labs, I could have different results..so this was inconclusive of whether or not I am having a miscarriage. Very confusing. I now have to wait till Thursday to do another test and Friday for the result. Its going to be a long week. I dont want to give up hope but its hard to stay positive.

Ideally they say double but I think the minimum they like is 66% in 48 hours - and you are above that rate so all good so far. Try not to stress - hope is not lost - not in the slightest.

Ninamama...my thoughts are with you i do hopelike mine that we go on to hold our babies we certainly deserve it

My doubling rate was about the same as yours - actually I think it was 66% exactly. We're now almost 5 months in! Try not to worry.

I do know a bit about HCG and doubling and all that biz. My own doctor didn't believe I was even pregnant at 25, but I obviously proved him wrong..

Anyway, i plugged your numbers into the Doubling Time calculator and it said 58.58 hours for the first 2 numbers and then 59.1 for the second and the last. Which when you look at the charts is pretty average and not bad by any means. The website I use is https://www.betabase.info

Thank you smudge for info and everyone else it so helps i go to hospital after work at 1 were they re take bloods might ask for scan never know might see the sac which will reassure me its not ectopic...

Had a dream i went into labour last night lets hope its good sign x
