Just as the title says really:thumbup:
Ive been advised to try orthodontic teats but really don't want to have to buy more bottles (think hubby would go mad lol)
Does anyone know if they will fit tommee tippee closer to nature bottles, or even Dr Browns?

I'm not sure; I know they used to fit the avent wide necked bottles; but that was a few years back now

Thanks Summer Rain. Do you know if they are good?
Im really struggling with bottles at the minute. She is struggling with any newborn teat at the minute, they all seem far too fast for her, it spews out the side of her mouth on one side, and I don't mean a little bit.
I have tried ttctn newborn (1) and variflow
Avent size 1
Dr Browns natural flow first size.

Hey i have two nuk bottles that i dont use and a bunch of TTCTN bottles which we do use but i just went and tried the Nuk teat with the TT bottles and they are too small. with and without the ring around it. Not sure about the Dr. Browns one tho.

aw thanks so much yourstruly v good of you

NUK fits DR B's - just tried both the Silicone and the Latex ones :flower:

aw wow thanks ouchwith. I tried an avent on dr browns, it fitted but it leaked. Really hoping weve found the solution. Thanks again for everyones help. Thats why Iove this forum x

Just tried the Nuk teat on Dr Browns, they do fit but sadly leak badly. Tried lo on Nuke teat and there does seem to be an improvement, just not sure on the glass bottle. Do you just steralise these as other bottles? I use a microwave steraliser.

Just tried it on the Avent bottle and it still fits. Lo is still asleep and hasnt had any wind yet at all:thumbup:
Now do I buy Avent wide neck bottles or are there cheaper bottles that would suffice? As it is only a bottle, its the teat that is doing the work.

Worrisome you can get plastic bottles too? We loved nuk!

Aw really sb22, thanks hun. Hubby had to go on his own, due to bad snow here. He came back with a glass one . Ive put the teat on the Avent bottle to try it (going to give her a few feeds to get used to it before investing) now just waiting for her to want a feed

Yep, Mothercare do them, and bigger Boots stores. Large and small bottles.

The NUK website have lovely Mickey and Minnie designs too. And eBay sellers have them

Thanks Sb22, unfortunately they seem too fast for her.

I am totally and utterly lost.

I have two problems.
Dr Browns, she falls asleep but brings up burbs really well and doesn't seem to have as much spillage from the one side of her mouth.

All the other bottles are either way too fast or don't seem to fit her mouth probably she is dripping that much from her mouth it is becoming red and inflamed and very rashy.

Bottles I have now tried are Nuk (seem too fast) Avent airflex size 1 (too fast) ttctn size 1 and variflow (don't fit her mouth right) Dr Browns (too slow as falls asleep)

I have heard Dr Brown size 2 teats are very fast so worried about trying them.
Im even considering trying a sterile needle but I was always told this is a real no no
My added problem is I still cant drive after my section, we have bad snow and huby has to go and try and get me the bottles/teats we need.

Please please please, anyone got any ideas? I'm not just talking a little spillage it is pouring out and making her sore.
