does anyone use follow on aptamil?

hello everyone i was just wondering about this as bought some for katie today as we are now weaning and as it says it compliments weaning thought it would be good but then my sister came over and said how she has heard bad things about it and that it just makes them constipated any ideas? shall i take it back and swap back to the hungry milk she was on? thanks

Omar is on Aptamil follow on. He likes it more than his old one (Aptamil anti reflux). We had to switch as Omar doesnt eat or drink much & as the follow on has more iron & vitamins in it, it's working well for us. Omar is never constipated (he poos 1-2 times everyday) xx

Evie is also on Aptamil follow on as she seemed to go off the first stage milk so I tried the follow on in the hope she'd drink more.. she did
As for the constipation, yes it has made her poos firmer than before but she's never been constipated (usually 2 or 3 poos a day, sometimes as many as 6!!) as she has plenty of fruit and veg in her diet
I think if your LO is eating a varied diet then constipation shouldnt be an issue

I was told what you where told. Howeve ri was told this on all follow on milk. KAcey is almost 6 months buthtink i may wait till she is a bit passed 6 months. I was told you dont need to change straight away. Ask your HV
