Does anything help bed rest aches and pains?

I've only been on for 11 days and I'm so uncomfortable! y back mainly, but my hips ache too- and I have a fairly lax modified bed rest compared to some! I get up and stretch some every hour or so, I take a shower every day, I change positions often... Is there ANYTHING else I can do?

Hey love - hot water bottle and the occaional paracetamol got me thru 26wks of bed rest x

I found comfy PJ (3 sizes too big) and lots of nice comfy pillows around your back but its not great.....hopefully day time tv trash will get better to pass time quicker x

Im on day 14 of "strict" bedrest...I have hip dysplasia & im in so much pain. Im going in today to findout if i will be on bedrest till delivery another 19 weeks...
I feel your pain!!! Im sorry you have to be on bed rest its HARD!

Do you have memory foam matresses/matress toppers in the US? We didn't have one when I was on bedrest, but I am now pregnant again and was getting terrible hip and back pain during the night. We got a memory foam topper and it's all gone, it's like sleeping on a cloud!

Oh, Mammabear! Ouchie! I have SPD which is messing with my hips enough, I cant even imagine hip displscia!

Midori- I've tried those and they don't work so much... we've talked about just getting a tempurpedic, but we'll see- they're pricy!

Lizzie- I have to save my Tylenol (paracetamol) for the headaches- not that they help that much- but even when I do take it, I haven't noticed any relief from the bed aches...

I called and talked to my Dr today after a 45 minute panic attack last night brought on by pain- she has released me to go to the hot tub for 20 minutes a day! (Our tub is 99 degrees) so WHOOOOOOOHOOO! I'm sure this will help LOADS!
