Does babies bath HAVE to be at bedtime?

i do it whenever we have time, usually every other day. it doesn't seem to make any difference with anything....

No, we've always done morning baths here. 1, because my LO's find a bath stimulating, not soothing. and 2, because the house is very cold at night, but in the morning the bathroom is the warmest room thanks to the heat kicking on.

Just do whatever works for you. I don't bath Holly at bedtime as it tends to get her excited and lively, rather than wind her down for bedtime. I don't have a set bath time for her, just whenever it fits in :)

Baths are at whatever time Evelyn chooses to coat herself in food/juice/chocolate etc ;)

You can bath whenever - we have always done it as part of lils bedtime routine - she knows when daddy gets home it's bath time and gets excited :haha:

Of course not. I find it easier to bath my boys in the morning. Usually before the school drop off xx

I would do what works for you.

We do have bath before bed (most nights though every Friday we skip the kids baths because the older one has art class that runs later) but it's easier to put them both in the tub together for us so we get it all done at once

We do a bath about twice a week...Oh just hands her to me while I am in the tub (in the morning), or some nights we fill the baby bathtub in the kitchen if the oven is on and it's nice and warm in there. Lily is pretty mellow about baths so either way is no big deal.

I've never been able to do baths as part of LO's bedtime routine. Baths actually stimulate her rather than settle her.

Funny you say this coffee as they had their bath at 4pm yesterday after DS1 had an accident. I usually bath them in the evening every other day but after yesterday I thought about changing it. My older one LOVES a bath and sees it as a treat in the middle of the day lol. Plus its often hard to fit it in as DH comes homw around 5 and usually wants a bath or shower about the same time they do. So it makes sense to change. Although im a bit anxious how it will affect DS2 as he associates the bath with slepp. I bath them together and he was rubbing his eyes in the bath even though he just got up from a 2hr nap!!
