Im 36 weeks this weeks and have managed to keep my GD controlled since being diagnosed at 29 weeks. This week though my tolerance seems to have gone a bit wonky and I've had slightly raised levels but today they have crept over the limit.

Was going to give my diabetic nurse a call tomorrow but I was under the impression that at around 36 weeks the diabetes tends to tail off? I wasn't expecting this situation to arise!

Actually, no, not always. My diabetic consultant told me that she had to put women on insulin as late as 38 weeks. My fasting numbers are a bit higher this week, and I'm almost 38 wks...
