.. that i just realised i put 6 oz of water in but only 5 scoops. I knew what i was doing 5 scoops at the time but it only just clicked right after i finished giving her the bottle :dohh: I wont make her ill will i ?

I think I've read somewhere about doing that when LO's are constipated so I can't imagine it will do any harm.

lol, I dont think so. I lost count more than once. xx

Mine was given deluted formual when he had a stomach bug. It was 3 scoops for 5-6 oz.

Thanks ! I knew i was giving 5 scoops but forgot i put in 6oz. Although im pretty sure this MUST of happened before. Concentrating on scoop amounts is harder than it sounds !! lol

I used to put a couple of extra oz of water, without powder in, when it was hot/he was constipated.

I didn't read the pack right when LO was born and I was putting 1 scoop to 3oz of water for about 3 feeds. No wonder she was starving! I told the MWs and they juast said to continue properly in the next feed. I asked if I'd hurt her, and they said no, she would just pee it out.

You should add another ounce of water if your LO is constipated anyway, so it's not harmful. Just a bit more watery :)

Argh tell me about it! I really have to concentrate when I'm making LO's bottles else I'll forget how many scoops I've put in :haha:

I'm sure everyone's done it at least once by mistake. I know I definately have (gotta love that mummy brain) &, apart from making her a little sicky, it's not caused her any harm.
