Does lap and dye improve your periods?

I'm booked in for this on 3 August. This will be a few days after I ov so no ttc for me this month. Problem is I'm due to go on holiday 9 days later and my period is due the day I go. I have quite heavy painful periods so could do without it to be honest so I'm wondering if the lap and dye might improve this? Otherwise i might ask my doctor for the tablet that stops your period although as I'm ttc I don't know if shed give it to me. When i was on the pill, my periods were fantastic. Very light and would last no more than 5 days but these days I usually spot for at least 3 days before my period and my period can now last for around 7 days. So I'm wondering if the lap and dye might help?

if your tubes are blocked they may unblock them i wasn't bleeding for long just 2or3 days and you can get Cort preggo stright away to xxxxx

I've had the HSG and that showed my tubes were clear so I don't think that's the problem. I'm just wondering if they find i have endo and remove it, will i feel any benefits? Most months my period is quite heavy for the first 3 days then gradually eases, and has generally stopped within 7 days. I also get really bad period pains but this month it's the best period I've had in absolutely ages. Minimal pain and quite light. Oh well thanks for responding. I'm sure I'll find out soon enough xxx

i normally have light periods (naturally), i had my lap & dye done while on my period,
but it wasn't more then a bit of spotting altogether so no trouble there.

first AF after the lap and dye however, it was heavier than normal, booo, quite painful for two days too
