nasal bone in this scan pic, its 11 weeks 4 days done today was just curious, it was a emergency scan so they didnt look for that, will they at my 12 week dating scan?? or do i have to ask them if he/she has one?

Hey hun, its hard to know what exactly is the bone structure at a 12 week scan, wait for your 20 week and they will go into more detail x

Hey Nat- I *think* I see it! They looked at for the nasal bone at my nuchal which was 11+1. Are you having that? Here's my pic and you can see the nasal bone. I see the same in your pic!

My NT scan is next wednesday will they just tell me if there is one or will i have to ask? x

Nope, the whole point of the nuchal scan is to look for the presence of a nasal bone and to measure the amount of fluid behind the babies neck. Then they take your blood [finger prick] & note your age etc. They then come up with some formula. You then get odd's of downs as well as trisomy 13 and 18. Like 1/250 or 1/10,000....

I've never had a finger prick before not that i'm bothered much by it, i cant wait for next week though.

That was the worst part lol. They have you put your finger to the paper five times after they prick it. It's not bad honestly. Lots of luck!

I would rather do that! They took from my arm with a needle and vile. I don't like needles much!
