Does this look like a vagina?

The attached 3D image is at 12 wks of my baby. Sticking down from between the legs looks to me like swollen vagina lips. Would a scrotum look the same?

The attached potty shot image shows a little nub. It doesn't have the "turtle head" quality that baby boy developed penises have, but my baby is likely not developed in this pic at 12 wks.

At my appointment the ultrasound tech said she couldn't tell based on potty shot if it's boy bits or swollen girl bits- what do you think?

At 12 weeks boy and girl bits look the same. It is only when they get close to 16 weeks they look diff

Im thinking that looks like aboy. To me anyway it looks like that his penis and maybe the other white dots are his "nuts" sorry couldnt think of a nicer way to say that. still cant. Im blanking on words right now. lol

That second pic was what one of my twins looked like and the lady said boy! Who knows...

Thanks ladies! Arj, how far along were you when the doc guessed boy? Sometimes people say its too early to tell, but I've seen online that guesses at 12 wks are 80% accurate. I just wanna know already!

you wouldnt be able to really tell any differance at this gestation if you have a 3d scan at 15 weeks and ask to see between legs then the genitles will not be fully formed but you would be able to tell if the nub is going to be a vagina or a penis

I definitely don't plan on posting any pics of my lady parts, that's for sure!

Boy seems to be a very popular guess for this baby! I already have my boy name picked out. If it's a girl, I have some thinkin to do for a name!

I cant tell im afraid. It could be either at 12 weeks as the nub looks pretty similar. There is a picture on this link of girl and boy numbs at 11 weeks to give you an idea. x

cute baby!!! at this stage of the game both bits are external but if your tech (or friends) are really good they may be able to tell, unfortunately neither of those pics is a good enough shot to see where the angle of the dangle is positioned..but if you google angle of dangle you will get a lot of great info on how to tell external male and femal genitles. my son and daughter were both cooperative and i was told at 12 week appt what genders they were

Sorry no way to tell. As others have said they are indistinguishable at this point. I really wish we could know so soon! Great potty shot! Have you taken a urine gender test?

No urine test yet, I couldn't convince DH that it was worth 30 bucks. But he has just gotten me a heart Doppler lol, so maybe I'll get a urine test next pay day. I have my 2nd DS screening at 18 weeks and I'm sure they will check gender again- but I don't want to wait!! Come on, March 7!!

I have to guess boy BUT I will add in that I agree it is too early to tell. Based on the 2nd picture, (2D) the *parts* are to big to make me beleive it will *fall* off LOL. Will you be getting a gender scan?

Looks more like boy bits to me but still very early to tell, although i believe boy bits show sooner then girls x

It's difficult and inacurate to know for sure at 12weeks cos they all look pretty much the same. At my 20week scan i didn't see the turtle shape but seen a round blob that looked like a scotum and tech said boy.

Could go either way. At 12 weeks little boys and girls look the same. Boys the nub goes out and girls it tucks right in to form a vagaina in the next few weeks.
