I have had an ache in my lower left abdomen for about an hour now. It's not a sharp pain, but a strong ache. When I walk around it seems to ease off a bit, but when I sit down again it comes back within a few minutes.

Any help or advice would be most appreciated?

Thanks Xx

It could be your uterus moving up. I've had some achiness like that and also the more sharp round ligiment pains. As long as it isn't cramp-like it is probably fine, but you may want to ask your midwife just for reassurance.

It's definitely not cramp-like, just a strong dull ache if that makes sense, even though it sounds like it contradicts itself. It's started to ease off now, so hopefully a good night's rest will help.

Thanks for the reply! Xx

I had that ache around 15-16 weeks also, and im just starting to get them again. Its in my back also. Horrible feeling, IMO it will be uterus and your abdominal muscles stretching.

The pain for me happens when I'm rolling in bed or doing something like stretching. You can feel it pulling on the muscles in your lower abdomen, it's not fun is it xx

I've been having cramps. Feels like I'm just about to come on. No blood though, and symptoms are all still here!

I was thinking round ligament pain. Its worse when i just lay down still. If I'm moving i can forget about it.
But now, I think I'll give my midwife a call tomorrow.

Owch thats like a stabbing pain I stop anything im doing to stop the cramp its so sore.

I've the sharper pains when I stand too quickly and they pass, so hopefully this is just a similar thing bu the dull ache bit.

I don't seem to have it this morning, which is good, but thank you all so much for all the replies, they help put my mind at ease! Xx
