So DH and I both love the name Blake. Our team yellow baby will therefore be Blake whether its a boy or a girl.

Middles names have been a challenge as we want a family name. But a lot are ugly or boring. Do middle names really matter, if they aren't called by it? So we have decided on...

Blake Blossom
Blake Lee

Do you think Blake Blossom is too much 'Bl'? I kind of like the alliteration. But would like your opinions...(not too harsh though )

We realise Blake Lee said fast sounds like Blakely, does this matter??? Charlie is the second middle name option.

I like Blake for both , depending on the surname Blake blossom might be a bit much, how about another flowery name, deffo think a really feminine name would go with Blake. I like Blake Lee, it's not often that first and second names are said aloud anyway??

I'm not really a fan of Blake Blossom, it sounds a bit gimicky tbh. I do love Blossom though, it's cute . But middle names don't really get used much, in my experience anyway, so if you love it I would still use it.
I think Blake Lee sounds good, Blakely isn't a common name (well I haven't heard it before anyway lol) so I don't think people will automatically misspronounce the names. Charlie is cute too

DH and I just love the name Blake, and Blossom is non-negotiable. DS1 just has 1 middle name so I want to stick with that trend.

Thing is I also love the name Averie, and think Averie Blossom is beautiful. (Pronounced either Ayv-ree or Ay-ver-ree) We want 4 children, so could name this lo Averie (if its a girl), then the next baby will 100% be Blake.....but there is a part of me that's worried we may only have 2 then I won't get my Blake

Then again that's all just 'what ifs' as this baby could be a boy so we get our Blake! Lol!

Although we like Blake Lee, we have decided to try to find a name we love from DH's mothers family.

Ideally we would have our 4 babies and use a middle name from each parents family...
DS1 mn is from my Dad
The mn Blossom is from my Mum's family
