Does your baby face out in the pushchair?

I still have Thomas parent facing at 14 months. We both prefer it :)

We have the uppababy vista so from birth to about 4.5 months he was either in the bassinet (carrycot?) or the car seat using the attachment and then we switched to the actual stroer seat when he outgrew the bassinet/started to hate the car seat more lol. He was parent facing all the time til about 6/7 months but then he got too nosy and liked to see what was going on so I will forward face him if we are at a store or something where there is a lot to see. I still prefer parent facing but if he sees me too much he'll just want to be carried or worn lol and that's not always possible. And like someone else said, forward facing allows him to flirt with all the little old ladies/anyone that will look at him :haha:

Oh gawd - takes me five hours longer to get anywhere for being accosted by little old ladies from her fluttering her eyelashes at them all and giggling (she's SUCH a tart)! Then by the time they ask me what weight she was, and it comes out she was premature... they all tell me their life stories of how THEY were premature as well...

Wouldn't knock it for the world - if it sends them away smiling, it makes HER smile and the world's all happy!

I have boniti bebe pram. It fits the maxi cosi car seats. It can be forward or rearward facing. Can adjust to lay completely flat and loads of room for shopping and has four wheels. Its also really easy to fold and fits in the boot of my coupe. Its a great pram and will last for years. Look on the glasgow pram centre its on offer just now.

We have a britax travel system, i bought it cause it faces both ways. DH took LO for a walk in the woods the other week and said he faced forward for the first time-he was wide awake and was watching the trees :)

I have a buggy which can go either way, although just now he always faces me. I'll prob face him out when he is bored of my face! Or when he is older and needs entertained, I like watching him though :)

I had DS parent facing as i prefered it until he was fairly old, i like looking at him and chatting etc but with the next baby we will be having a double that is FF only so the next baby will be FF from birth, i'm a little sad that i cant have him facing me but i doubt the baby will actually care!

I am all for parent facing at this age! I have Icandy and it is both parent and front facing. Reclining in the same positions.

Nooop I love to look at him. What pram do you have that she's too big for?

What pushchair do u have? I have a silvercross 3d and it's only forward facing as a stroller 2. She's still ok in the pram at the mo but fills it so iv been wondering the same! Does your car seat fit on it? That was going to be my next option before going to forward facing but it is quite heavy with carseat attached. Anyone else with silvercross Ventura car seat.. How big and heavy is the bloody thing?! Lol. As someone else said if it has extra padding/cosy toes and lies flat she will be totally fine in it forward facing :) xxx

I still have willow facing me, we have the iCandy peach so can go both ways, she gets upset forward facing and I think parent facing is best for preventing overstimulation and to help reassure her in busy situations....personally I wouldn't want to be pushed around at the eye level of a hundred shoppers elbows and bottoms so I wouldn't do it to willow.

Reading this makes me sad that I have never seen a parent facing stroller here in the US! I still have a couple months of him in the carseat parent facing on the stroller but will be sad when he has to face out all the time! Although, he already prefers being carried "forward facing" so if it makes him happy I will forward face him in the stroller too. Might not have to worry about it until spring now that snow is coming and we wont be getting much use out of the stroller for a few months!

We've got a m&p sola and really only ff now, he's a year old. He loves to look around. I missed seeing his little face but he got more bored and fidgety facing me so I went with his lead.

I wear Scarlett exclusively and actually there is no suitable pushchair option for her at the moment! She is too big to lie flat in our mother care my3 but cannot sit well enough for the pushchair seat. And in no way would she want to forward face.
