Dog jumped up and scratched belly!!!

I actually went through this too at about 30 weeks (an 80lb dog jumped & painfully scratched my stomach with it's claw). I did go to the doctor and they did the doppler, he just sort of laughed at me and said the baby couldn't be harmed by such a thing.

Harm to the belly could be, for example, a placental abruption after a severe car crash, or falling off a large ladder straight into your stomach (as he explained). You should be fine but feel free to call your practitioner if you are worried.

i was attacked at work one day when i was 6 months ish some old fart punched me right in my bump and baby is fine

my mum has a staff (who i CANNOT stand) and he jumped on me one day when i was led on the sofa

I am a bit worried when i am gonna see my OH's family. The dog likes to jump but the annoying thing is that she jumps on you (literally on your lap, lol) when you are sat on the sofa. She is quite big as well (thin but wit a good size- I mean it is not a tiny dog , lol) . So when she play with OH on his lap who is sat right next too me, i always have to do careful she doesn't come on me cos of the bump.

I grew up with giants and can't wait for my little Nico to grow up with a gentle giant of her own.

Our bumps can take quite a lot, wait till the midwife starts palpating your stomach!
