doing baby's laundry!

I never realized how much stuff this little girl has and needs washed before she comes, lol. I was thinking it would be an easy job too....just separate by colors and wash, but NOOO, all of her bedding/blankets has different washing instructions, lol, half needs to be washed in warm, half in cold, I hope by the time I get to her clothes I can just separate it and wash it all the same, lol.

But seeing all of her cute stuff and folding it all again is making it sooo much harder to wait, 3-6 weeks feels like a lifetime!! I want her to be here asap, lol.


Also, did anyone wash their crib bumper? I'm afraid it will lose its shape if I put it in the washer/dryer, I doubt our parents washed every single item we would come in contact with before we were born, lol, but I just don't know if thats an item that really needs to be washed or not.

I wash everything in cold water and it all still is in good shape
Also I washed her bumper pads for her crib in cold water and it kept its shape
I am okay with washing baby stuff but folding is what sucks

Lol wait until shes here and those explosive nappies start, then you will know about the washing!!!.

I didnt bother washing her bumper either, but then she hasnt used it so im not much help. Im sure it will be fine though.

Same here! I just assumed it's all clean lol?

Well I doubt our parents washed every single item before we came here, lol. I'm just washing it all so its all nice and soft, plus the clothes all need to be washed cause who knows who touched them in the store, haha. I work in retail and I've seen people sneeze on the clothes, drop them on the floor, etc etc.

Eww eww eww! That's all i needed to here, i'm definately giving all of my LO's clothes a wash! lol
