Donor Milk Instead Of Formula?

Lol... well I am donating, but it would be really nice if I could get some money from it. Breastfeeding/pumping/storing milk isn't free for me, and money is tight. This is stuff I had already stored up. I know I could increase my supply if I wanted to but since there is no money in it for me, I just pump what I do now and freeze the extra (if I try to drop a pump/reduce what I'm getting now, my supply drops too low for my LO).

If the milk bags were provided for free at least that would be nice, those get expensive!

Story about a mom donating her milk after losing her baby. It made me cry.

I don't have a problem with donors being reimbursed for their costs. They are already giving generously of their time and effort, so it's only fair and polite that recipients should reimburse or replace supplies such as storage bags, labels and packaging.

Costs are another issue, of course a mum should be reimbursed for any costs incurred in the process of donating her milk xx
