basically got home with my son and he said mummy theirs something in my bag for you and then pulled out a lovely silver heart shaped necklace (all package up) and gave it to me...
out of shock I said 'where did you get this sweat heart'
and he replied 'at the school fair' (I didn't even know there was a fair on)
so I asked confused 'what about money'
and he said 'grandma and granda gave me money' then ran off to play

I dont know how to feel:

Im happy my little boy bought me a present  (hes a daddies boy so its daddy that always get cards and pressies)
Im proud he picked something so nice and that he gave a gift
but then also feel incredibly guilty that he spent his money on me

how am I meant to feel? I dont know

Be thankful and let him know how much him giving it to you meant to you. And wear it lots so that he knows that you do like it very much.
You could also make him his favourite meal to thank him or do something extra nice for him.
And don't feel guilty, as pp said feel blessed. And know that you are doing a great job raising him and he wanted you to know that. He loves you.

I would be feeling pretty great about that actually! Such a lovely thing to do :)

I concur with everyone else! What a sweet and thoughtful thing to do- I would feel SO proud!!!!
