Hi,
Been on the over 35's TTC for a while but thought I would ask for some advice from anyone who can help.
I am just 40 (Dec 7) and the end of Nov i had a blood test done to check my hormone levels. My FSH level was 72 I then went to see a Gynae Dr on 17 Dec (1 year to the date after losing my baby at 18.6 weeks due to chromosomal problems). This Dr was almost mean to us and very dismissive. He announced that I was perimenopausal and had little chance of getting PG offered HRT and told us to go away.
Since then I have embarked on weekly Acupuncture with yucky herbal teas to drink five days a week, chinese herbal pills (from Acupuncturist), Vitex, Royal Jelly, Maca, Soy Isoflavones and the usual prenat vits. I also take Coq10. (coq10 was the only time the gynae Dr responded positively to me and said "yes do take that"!)
My question is am i overdoing it? What is the best thing to take to kick my reproductive system back to where it should be? The last thing i want is to visit an infertility clinic in the future to find out that I should have simply taken one supplement or something else to achieve what we need to achieve.
If you have got this far thank you very much.
BTW latest bloods came back at 77.3 FSH level (Grr!)
