its just a quick question

my doctor has put me on diclofenac for pain caused by my fertility problem, the problem is it causes fertility to be decresed and is not recommended for women trying to conceive or having problems conceiving, (occording to the instructions)

the problem is my doctor is a bit of a heartless bugger, but told me this when he give them me, and of course i said but what about conceiving etc and his reply was well if the pains that bad (which it is) then its more important then conceiving, maybe to anyone else that might be true but id be willing to go through any amount of pain for a baby.

im trying to get through to my FS but with no luck, is there any advice anyone can give me, should i take them or not, at the moment im not,

what would you do?? xx

definitely don't take 'em until you speak with fs! i'm so sorry your doc is so insensitive to your situation!

thanks bexxc dont know about you but i always fine the male doctors are less sensitive to fertility problems then women, im thinkin if i cant get through to my FS, i think im gunna go and get a second opinion from my doctors but see a different doctor xx

i guess i'm lucky. i have a male doc, but he's really sweet. he originally wanted to be an fs so he's particularly sensitive to ttc issues. i would definitely find a new doc if i were you. it's hard enough ttc without resistance from someone who is supposed to be helping you!

Thats terrible, some doctors are just so insensitive, they don't realise how important conceiving is to some women and that sometimes time isn't a luxury. I would definitely book an appointment with another doctor and see if there are any alternative medications you can take. There are a few doctors like that in my practice as well so I always request my appointments with a certain doctor who I like even if it means I need to wait a little longer for an appointment and it's always worthwhile.

tbf most FS ive had have been male nd there lovely, however some can be a bit blunt but i think there like that cuz im only 19 and ''have all the time in the world'' -.-

but the doctors are a different matter, its not there problem, its sort it and NEXT!!

ive never really had a problem with this doc before but ive never seen him about my fertility before so he can go on my avoidence list along with dr.jones lool

i would deffo give up on the tablets...its hard enough trying to concieve, when your own doctor is insensitive....i hope your ok...fingers crossed for you
