dont like character toys!!

I also don't like them on principle. I hate all merchandising. That said, we do have some ITNG things for Byron as he really loves it and it makes him smile and laugh. We've picked things carefully though. We got a talking macca pacca as his cousin has one that he liked when he was small and it made him smile. We got a ninky nonk as he's got no pull/push toys yet and laughs at the ninky nonk. But we got these because they were the characters. I hate how any object (bean bag, chair, coat, umbrella whatever) has to be branded with a character. I object to babies and children being made to be advertising billboards. If I want a hat set I will go out of my way to find one that isn't branded.

HATS! thats a prime example! I seen loads of hats i like all the time then there spoilt by a big fat thomas the tank on the front of them! not only that there more expensive BECAUSE there branded! Drives me mad, some of the toy ideas are really good but spoilt because of branding them with characters! took me ages to find charlie a hat i liked which wasnt branded! good old next!

Daisy has just got a Peppa hat from her gran and out for the 5 hats she has its the only one she will leave on!

I bought her the cutest fluffy hat with a tie under the chin and she cried for 20 minutes and then went in the huff for an hour after !!

So we will be keeping the Peppa hat for now!!

edit just to add I still hate them! But if she keeps it on is freezing cold weather I will just have to let her keep it!!!!
