Dopplers- when can you hear a heartbeat?

I can't remember how early I used my Doppler with my last pregnancy. How early were you able to find a heartbeat with yours??

First pregnancy was 11 weeks, second was 9 weeks and this one at exactly 8 weeks- but saying that I heard it that day then nothing for over a week and some days now I still can't find it!
