Dose it run by mother of baby?

My DH who is now a healthy and thriving Dad to be aged 23 was born at 26 weeks. Dose this pose any risks to our babt or was it probably mother out law?

No, prematurity is not something that can be inherited or that is genetic. Unless it's caused by an underlying problem, but that's unlikely, and even if it was, it wouldn't pose any risk whatsoever for you.

So in short, the fact that your husband was born prematurely has absolutely no bearing on the odds of you having your baby prematurely.

my uncle was born early (weighed just 2lbs) but both his kids were late, his ex wife had to be induced both times!
