Posted a few weeks ago looking for male variants of Christine because I lost my Mum (Christine) to breast cancer 4 yrs ago, she was 47 and was 100% I was having my 3rd boy. Well I was wrong!! We are thrilled to be expecting a girl :)
My question is, me and other half always loved Ivy Rose when team yellow the last 2 times. Would it be too much to keep that and add Mum's name but double barrell? So Ivy-Rose Christine Je....son?
I wouldn't like to get rid of our original name but I definitely don't want to replace Christine (1st girl in family since she passed)
Xx

I think its a lovely idea to add your mums name in the middle and to make the original names doubled barrelled.
Ivy-Rose Christine sounds just perfect

Since Ivy and Rose are only one syllable a piece, I think this would work beautifully! Congratulations on your baby girl!

I think that's a lovely name. Absolutely nothing wrong with having the first 2 names double barrelled as they are both short. Another alternative would be to just have 2 middle names.

I'm not a fan of double barrelled first names but I actually think that Ivy-Rose sounds really nice, the names lend themselves to being put together as they flow well. I definitely don't think that having a middle name as well is too much :)

Ahh I get it now! I thought it was three names plus a double barrelled surname, bad baby brain over here. I think ivy-rose Christine is lovely

I'm not a fan of double-barrelled names but I think it sounds nice and isn't too much of a mouthful.

I must admit I am not big on double barrelled first names but Ivy-Rose Christine is very sweet.

Congrats on your baby girl.

I'm not a fan of double barrel names either, but Ivy-Rose does sound really well together.

Also as someone else suggested you could have two middle names. That's what we did with DS. We always loved Scott David for a name when we started TTCing, then we lost my Dad a year later. When I finally did fall pregnant 10 months after we lost him we decided to add my Dads name, making him Scott David John :)

I love it and don't think it's a mouthful at all.
My DS is Callum David Edward H*** which is more of a mouthful but honouring my relatives was more important so I did it anyway! lol
