Double dip anyone?!

Sooo im all out of hpts and just HAD to dip something so i took a one step from a few days ago (which had a very very faint something on, and re-dipped it in a nice dark sample. Its made the line much clearer. I really shud hav took a before and after pic but heres how it looks now.
Anyone ever done this? Opinions?

Its very clear on it dry but i kno it wont photo well as its gathered knocks from me shoving it away wet.
