I am 18 and due in July I had the quads test done and my results came back as 1 in 50,000 which I've heard is good however, both my brother and auntie suffer with Down's syndrome and I'm worried it may affect my baby too, could use some advice?

I don't think Down syndrome runs in families quiet like that but I'm not 100% sure.
How old were your parents when they had your brother?

1 in 50,000 is low. I've heard of plenty of ladies on here getting 1:5 odds and having a perfectly healthy baby.

She was 26 so was a lot older than what I am and aw okay thank you :)

Congratulations on your pregnancy :flower: Sorry I don't really know too much about down syndrome and whether it runs genetically but your results are promising and I wouldn't worry. Have you discussed your concerns and family history with your midwife? X
