This is robyns new thing :hissy: she is 3 and as just started to draw on the walls av explained to her that you draw on paper nad not wall her answer to this was i didnt have any paper and i wanted to draw a beautiful pic for u :dohh:
ok av tried everything i no to make her stop example standing her in the naughty corner and her washing ti off

does anyone have any advice on wat i can do with her x

The boys both went through this too, we ended up just putting ALL pens, crayons, markers everything ut of their reach. We did make them clean it and all but nothing besides avoiding the problem worked.

I just hide everything writeable and still i found scribbles on my living room wall yesterday

they must smuggle the pencils in when we're not looking :dohh:

no advice other than they grow out of it :D

I know how you feel hun Dylan used to do the same when he was 2 thought it was great to draw mummy pictures on the wall, I just put all pen's pencil's ect out of this reach he did grow out of it himself now I can give him pencil's and paper and he won't go near my wall's :))

hopefully she too will grow out of it, that's the onlky advice I have. xx

Iv put all the pens and pencils in the garage  am i been nasty cos i feel horrible  but i no she as to learn

You done the right thing ALY. We sometimes have to seem harsh to make them understand. You cant have her going round drawing on other peoples walls which might be the next step up from your walls. Its the only way they learn is if they are shown. My son drew on the walls once and i took all his pencils away. We alloted drawing time during the day s we could sit down together and draw a beautiful picture which was mummy and jack time but was also supervised so no drawing happened anywhere else but on paper. Now he is 6 all he does is draw.lol

nicole used to do it when she was that age too. you'd go into a room and find big smilie faces on the walls.
she'll grow out of it hun, just make sure you keep everything out of reach but lke mamafy said they smuggle them in.!

lil monkey!!! Jack hasnt attempted this yet, tho he did go through a stage of drawing on the carpet while he was sat on the floor WITH paper! :dohh: Luckily we have those washable pens, incase he tries to draw on my cream leather settee!

Ohh i've not really experienced this much , But i did find josh drawing on the downstairs wall once & only once , I let him watch me throw is pencils in the bin. He never done it since. Maybe harsh but he learnt straight away we do not draw on walls , & that if he wants to draw he has to ask for paper. I just get the big packets of asda printing paper for something silly like £2 for hundreds of sheets now & he gets those :)

My daughter went through this too when she was about 3, and she used to peel off her bedroom wallpaper. Last year i was cleaning the house and she wanted to help i was getting something from the bathroom and when i came back she had put bleach all over the tv :O

I agree that you did the right thing.

One other word of advice, make sure you always buy washable markers :)

If any one is intreadted iv found a way to get pen off walls :happydance:
And its dettol anti bacterial surface cleaner :dohh:

Does it work on crayon too? Since you posted this and I put the older 2 did this hayden has started :| He's done it so many times now, it's making me crazy. I keep thinking all the pens/pencils/crayons are up and somehow he finds more

Oh and do you have a link so I can see if we have something similar since everything is called different things here

I dont no how to do links
Yeah it does work on crayon xxxxx

If you know of a site that has it if you just copy and paste the address in here it should work :D

hi hun iv found this dont no if it will help you
but u could have a look and see
www.dettol.co.uk

dont no if im allowed to do this so sorry please move if im wrong

My parents banned markers and paint and anything that didn't wash off

They've got that Crayola Colour Wonder stuff out now though where the markers only work on special paper.. pricier though than using regular paper and markers.

It must be a 3 year old thing [-( my daugher does the same thing, mostly in her room. We are going to try and put the chalk board paint in her room, and see if that helps. We have hid all the crayons and pens, but she finds them.
