Dream feeding by bottle

Can you give a dream feed whilst snoozy baby is laying down? I've seen pictures of babies laying down feeding themselves from a bottle, so wonder if its possible to dream feed this way. My LO would definately wake up if I tried picking her up, no matter how gently!

it has never worked for us......my sister did it with my niece though when she was smaller

Many mothers have heard the above statement. The answer is yes, bottle-feeding can cause ear infections for your baby. Here are the reasons why and how you can prevent it.There is also an old-wives-tale that says a baby will get ear infections if the baby is breastfed whilst lying down. This is not true; in fact breastfeeding actually reduces the risk of a baby getting ear infection over that of bottle-feeding.

You dont do a dream feed with a baby laying flat in the cot, you take them out of the cot. Your not feeding them spark out asleep they will stir slightly when you pick them up but they fall asleep again.
