Right i know this may have been asked 1000 times, and your all probably sick and tired, but, i want to try the whole dreamfeed with Rosie, and see if it will help her sleep a little better.

The thing is, do i pick her up out her cot and feed her, and then maybe wake her by doing this, or do i feed her whilst she is lying in her cot?

How do i go about burping her?

How much does she need?

Ta muchly girls :D

Yup, just pick her up and pop the boob or bottle in before you go to bed... I can never get Jasmine to burp, but I hold her upright and rub her back a few minutes.

I pick up Jessica and feed her as normal (she is bottle fed) then I rub her back to wind her (don't always wind well) sometimes I find it easier to put her over my shoulder to wind. Luckily she stays asleep whicle all this is going on. I even change her nappy before hand lol I guess I'm lucky she sleeps soundly.
Hope all goes well with your dream feed
xXx

Same as the others really, we picked Hannah up and fed her and than propped her up to burp...she was always a pretty good burper though so we didn't have any issues getting her to burp even asleep

She only took 2oz, how much is the norm or does it not really matter much?

doesn't really matter, she'll take as much as she wants (until she's full) and stop eating...some nights Hannah ate the entire bottle, sometimes only an ounce or two :)

good luck! I hope she sleeps good!

We just feed Kathryn in her crib or else she will wake up too much and it'll be a big struggle to out her down again. She sleeps on her tummy so we turn her over which wakes her up a bit but feeding her puts her right back out, it's really helped cut down the # of times she wakes up because she's growing so fast she really does need the night time bottle. As long as we do it before we go to bed and before she wakes up on her own it works great. Good luck.

Good luck! I used to lift Daisy and she would clamp her jaws shut!:dohh:

So if you are ever having bother just tilt their head back slightly and tap their chin gently and it usually makes them open their mouth....

Daisy used to only take 2oz too and it worked for us, hope it works for you! :hugs:

Well it kinda worked, and i am pleased.
Firstly i had her in her cot, i normally start her in her cot, then she screams the place down usually at 1am so i just bring her down and put her in the moses basket.
Well last night, she had her bedtime bottle at 7:30pm, was in bed by 8am asleep, i dream fed her at 9:30 to which she took the 2oz, and she stayed asleep till 3:50am, i gave her her bottle, she only took 5oz not her usual 6oz, and slept till 7:10am, so it worked fairly well. :D

Thanks girls
