Please don't read and run!!
I need some advice/support :(

Sorry - I can't offer any help (having a hubby with NO sperm in SA) but didn't want to read and run - but your latest "48% excellent" is a huge improvement on your last 6% and first 25%. I don't know about the antibodies - have they suggested a plan of action?

I know that's the only thing I'm holding onto O:)
Only thing is he's not been doing anything different he's been doing 'everything right' for months and months and, the last sample was only 10 days after the second sample so no idea why they came out so different, his count had doubled

No, no plan of action yetwe don't see his specalist until the 9th September, just over a week O:)
From what I've been researching though the only options are IUI, ICSI, IVF :(

Thanks for replying hun :hugs:
19 people have looked at this and not bothered. . . :(

I'm sorry for your circumstance and hope things work and well whatever road you chose :hugs:

:flower:

Wish I could be of help but I really have no idea what sperm counts and numbers should be like. Wishing you lots of luck TTCing.

Is that your cat. . .? S/he's gorgeous!!
We're right cat lovers, will probably end up with 20 if we can't conceieve soon lol

Hey Maaybe!

I'm sorry, I don't know anything about the antibodies. My DH has slightly low volume and motility, he has had two SA's. The fertility specialist we are seeing thinks IUI will definitely help with his counts.

Sorry about all the trouble you are having with your HSG scan ~ hope that gets sorted soon.

Hey hun!
Long time no type lol

Umm . . . maybe that's what will get suggested to us too? O:)
Good Luck with it

Thanks hun, hopfully next AF it will be sorted if not I'll :grr: :)

Hey hunni!
It just shows how samples vary even when you think you are doing nothing different. Our morphology went from 8 to 4% and we did nothing different. We are going for our first fertility specialist appointment on the 7th next week. I guess we will both see what the plans are eh? Have you had any appointments with a specialist so far or have the tests so far been through the gp?

Everything we have had has been through the FS, GP didn't do any tests.

OH has had two appointments and the third is on the 9th.

I've had one appointment with FS, second on the 28th Sept (shuold of been today but long story).
I've had an ultrasound, some random bloods and immunisation tests, CD 3 and CD 21 bloods.
I can go for my HSG when AF shows which will be mid-Sept

Yeah. . . I'm guessing we'll be put on clomid or even talk about IUI or maybe even both O:)

Good luck hun, let me know how it goes! :hugs:

:kiss::kiss:

p.s. your chart is looking really good

Its funny how all gps go about it differently. I think I have been lucky with mine, though the first gp was crap!!

I have been sent for cd3 and cd21 bloods, swabs, chalmidia tests and smear. OH has done 3 sets of SA too as there were morphology issues. Our gp spoke to the FS after the first 2 SA came back 8% morphology and he said to repeat in 3 months and if still less than 10% he would be happy to see us prior to us reaching the 2 year mark. We repeated and it came back at 4%, si she put in for a referral but said that in order for us to go with as many of the tests that they require as possible, all of mine had to be repeated so that they were done within 1 month of referral!

So now we are waiting for next week and have all the paperwork ready. I had an ultrasound a few years ago for pelvic pain and things looked normal then. Just need to check tubes I guess now.

Secretly, I am hoping that we get to the appointment next tues and im pregnant anyway, but im sure that everyone dreams of that!!! ha ha. Chances are I will be bang in the middle of AF anyway!

Maybe we will go for an HSG around the same time! xx

Yes, that is one of my kitties. I have two little furry girls. This one's name is Hope and I have another called Zoey.

lol I said the same thing to my OH. I told him that if we reach one year from the date we decided we wanted to TTC and I still wasn't pregnant then I was having another cat... and then a cat for each additional year I have to try. He was less then thrilled and promptly suggested we try a little harder. :P

You never know that happened with us!
I had already got a very faint line, told them and they did a test there and then using this massive machine lol :)

Yeah maybe :)
I'm hoping I'm not pregnant this month just to get the HSG because I always have weird feelings on my right side and am scared something is up there :)

hi hun, dont know too much about the % and things but i have read on a few sites that sperm could increase with diet/exercise and tempature as it gets hotter the sperm tend to die off ...also depends on underwear...ceratain drinks etc. u probly know all that already but im just thinking maybe something as small as that could have changed it

Yeah I've obbsesivly(never could spell this word :dohh:) reasearched every lifestyle impact and OH has been a 'good boy' for months now doing everything he can to help the little guys, even on supplements O:)

He's not even allowed on the laptop, he has to use the computor so he doesn't fry them! :haha:

lol meanwhile my OH has the laptop right on his lap....ahhhhh it better not be killin his boys lol he would have a fit if i told him he cant have it there so i think tonight while im on my computer i will make him read some stuff with me about ways to have a better chance.

well i hope ure OH's count goes up enough randomly to get u prego! and soon

Me too hun O:)

I've finally trained my hubby to have his laptop on one of those laptrays with the polystyrene beads in the cushion underneath  :winkwink:

The last count seems pretty good to me, isn't it above the WHO guideline on all levels?

I'm confused by all this... because if yours is classed as not great, then ours is even worse, even though we were told it was fine!

I'm soooo going to quiz the FS about what is normal, when I see her on Tuesday!

Nope WHO say 20million for count (although I can't remember if they've brought it down to 15. . .?)

:(
