dryer vent

My husband and I have been using the window to vent our clothes dryer.

We came across an indoor dryer vent where they use water to trap lints and I was wondering if any of you used it?

I would love to close and lock our window for good. We can not install a vent through our foundation because it is so thick and full of rocks. We can't install above our foundation because our deck and kitchen door (as well as our outdoor concrete stairs) is above our laundry room. So thats why we are considering an indoor lint trap.

I am not worrying about the humidity because our a/c is not in the basement and our heater has no humidifier (both heat pump -in the attic- and gas furnace so they tend to dry out our air. We have a lot of static electricity issues every winter. It is bad .it keep erasing my cochlear implant processor program bad.)
