Ladies, my doctor has asked me to take it anytime after 27 weeks. Wondering if everyone else is getting it?

I'm hoping I get offered it. I am going to my brother's wedding (out of town for me) which will have guests from who knows where, so I'd like to be able to pass as many immunities to my LO as possible.

Yes it is.
I will be getting it too,midwife advised after 20 weeks.

YES! I will be receiving mine at my 28 week checkup. I had whooping cough earlier this year and was so sick. I had a 3 day long fever of 104. It would have killed a newborn.
