Hi all,
I'm set to deliver via c-section on September 22nd. I had my first last August and the experience was quite traumatic. We had no idea he would have a congenital heart defect, so right after he was delivered a lot of chaos occurred.
This baby has a different doctor and will be delivered at a different hospital. He has had about a million tests and scans and they have all come back perfect. However, I am TERRIFIED that the delivery will end in the same traumatic way. I am scared that the next month is all I will get to have with my rainbow.
I have been pretty good about managing my anxiety throughout the pregnancy, but as his due date gets closer, my heart feels like it's about to just burst with anxiety.
Any tips or advice or anything to help me calm down? I really want to relax and enjoy the rest of my pregnancy.
