We've been set on Eliza for a very long time now, the family call it her, we have personalised items etc
But I'm having a wobble!! & thinking we should stick with Daisy, a name u have always loved.

I think because my nan chose Eliza (I was never mad on it) and she passed away it made me feel I had to use it. Now we've scattered her I feel much more at peace with her passing & that I no longer 'have' to use the name if that makes sense.

Is it normal to have a change of heart? I don't want to just decide when she's here but don't want to regret my decision either ..

I think you should go with Daisy, a name you love. It sounds like more than a "wobble" to me. It seems more like you felt obligated to use Eliza, despite not really wanting to. I think if you use it for that reason, you will regret it. And i'm sure your nan wouldn't want that.

Oh dear, I'd go with Daisy too. You may end up hating the name Eliza. Good luck with the choice and good luck with the birth x

I was wondering if you'd had your baby yet and what name you had decided on!

I know you said you don't want to decide when she is here, but I think at this point it's the best thing to do. When she's born look at her, and try out both names. Hopefully one will feel right. That is how I decided my dd2's name, the other name was Jessica, and when she was born she just wasn't a Jessica.

For what it's worth, I absolutely love Eliza.

I know you don't want to just wait and see but you're very close to the end now. I know you've found it difficult choosing a name so enjoy your last week of pregnancy and don't stress - she will have a name very soon. (I prefer Daisy if its any consolation!)

What about Daisy Eliza? That way you wouldn't feel that you were letting your Grandmother down, and you would get the name you love. Good luck!

I agree! Use Daisy! I love the name and it sounds like you feel obligated to use Eliza instead of loving it. Forget about expectations and personalized items and think about your baby girls smiling face and what you want to call her lovingly.

Daisy Eliza is a beautiful name.

Me and OH have spoke about it and we're going to wait until she's here then decide.
We love how Daisy Eliza sounds but we don't want to regret our decision so hopefully when we see her we should know
