Hi Ladies
Just wanted to jump on quickly and share my this is it !!!!
A friend of ours is a psycic and after a couple of chats with her she told us midnight and the date 3rd May (which was also our 16th anniversary)
So...........
All day thursday I was thinking oh this would be good having a baby today saves on anniversary presents!!!! Got to 7pm and I'd done dinner all the ironing had a bath and by 8pm both the boys were in bed and asleep and hubby was watching football. So I thought I'd have time to myself to do my nails and straighten my hair......
9pm..... BOOM 1st contraction
9.13..... 2nd
9.20..... 3rd
9.25 .... called mum to tell her what was happening as she was coming with us and dad was having the boys
9.30 ... called my sister as contractions were a bit to close together
10.30 ... Arrived at hospital ....4cm dilated!!!!!!
Transfered to labour and delivery suite and meet my midwife who was a student and her mentor and discussed my birth plan which was very simple..... Epidoodle!!
Both anethetists were in theatre so had to wait .... no problem I said!!! Gas and air would do till then but it made me feel too sick and spaced out so didn't bother after a couple of puffs!!!!
11.45 .... Waters broke
11.52 .... Joseph Brian Robertson was born weighing in at 7lb 13oz
ALL IN ALL I WAS IN 'ESTABLISHED LABOUR' FOR 1 HR 22 MINS!!!!!! And NO PAIN RELIEF!!!!!
Got released from hospital at 10am the following day and am just enjoying the bank holiday with my 3 beautiful boys who went to sleep on the 3rd as 2 brothers and woke up on the 4th as 3!!! I would upload a pic but don't know how to do it!!!!!
