Dying a baby's buggy?

Hi

We've very kindly been given a 3 wheeler buggy (Mothercare urban detour) its a great buggy and really would like to get some use out of it but it could do with a bit of spruce up. Does anyone know if it's safe to dye the material and if so what dye is best to use? The buggy is a green khaki colour and would like to go black. I cant find out what material it is though (nothing in instruction manual or on google). If it wont work then so be it but thought it was worth a try!!

Go to your local fabric store with the pram and just ask them...they should be able to tell you which dye to use best for the material and if its safe or not.
