Earliest day to ovulate

I'm hoping (fingers crossed) to move over to TTC in the next month or so and I have been keeping an eye on my cycle.

I don't do OPK's although I have some - I read the leaflet and thought better of it !!

It seems that I ovulate around day 7/8 - is this kind of normal ? I didn't know whether this was too early - cycle length is around 25/26 days

It does seem early for the length of your cycle - 18 day luteal phase. I'm no expert though. Maybe others will be able to help more.

That doesn't make sense hun, that'd mean you'd have a luteal phase upto 18 days, which is rare, very rare.

TBH it's probably worth taking your temps to see when you ovulate, even if you only do it for one month.

I second the temp-taking. It really is very easy. You can open an account on fertilityfriend.com and it does all the hard work for you. Try it for a few months so you can get a really good look at things. If you need help, a lot of us here temp/have temped and we can help you with it. Good luck!
