Hi all!

I got my BFP yesterday, I felt really hot and odd yesterday morning so I tested and first a very very faint line with an internet cheapie then used a Superdrug 4 days early and got a line at lunchtime, then a darker line at home at 6pm. I am over the moon but I know 9dpo is really early to get a BFP and I am very paranoid about chemicals.

I tested this morning at 10dpo and got a strong line again, but when I am out of the woods for a chemical?

This is my first baby so I am new to all this really x

I got my bfp at 9dpo also and like you I was very worried about a chemical but here I am at 13 weeks and everything is fine!

I got my bfp about 1 week before my missed period so once that date had passed (when I was supposed to come on) I relaxed a little more.

I spent my whole first trimester worrying about mc and its not fun so my advice is to just wait, buy some prenatals and try and enjoy yourself.

Congratulations!

Thank you so much! That is reassuring news!

I will buy some pre-natals at lunchtime then I will try and relax

And congrats on your little one x

I think you can have a chemical with an early or later bfp. The fact that the line is getting darker is a good sign :).. I also got my bfp early this time around, about the same as you. Just had a hunch and all is well..

Sneaking in from 3rd tri - I got my BFP at 9dpo and am now almost 36 weeks pregnant :) try not to worry xxx

Congratulations, Bebbe! I got mine on Saturday afternoon too; so exciting!

I don't think an early positive means that you're at all more likely to have a chemical. I never heard anything like that. I think early testing just means that you are more likely to be aware of a pregnancy, and therefore aware of a chemical, if it happens. Back when my mom was having kids, there weren't these early pregnancy tests, and she said in some ways it was probably easier on people, because if it didn't stick, they just never knew they were pregnant at all.

I'm sure you'll be fine though! I'm a major worrier myself, but I'm really starting to feel like this is all going to be alright.

When I had my chemical, I got a nice line at 10dpo on a FRER, it was faint but there was no doubting it. But it never really got darker so I knew it was a bad sign. This time, I got my BFP again at 10dpo and I've had lovely dark, progressive lines this time round so I'm hoping it's a good sign. I kept all my tests from when I was pregnant with my son and they seem pretty similar. Hopefully this pregnancy will go as smoothly as my last. But there's just no knowing. I had good progressive lines when I had a MMC (but I did have spotting early on with that pregnancy) as well so I suppose you won't know until you have your scan.

It's so worrying isn't it. I'm constantly going to the toilet to check and am aware of every single niggle down there! I really hate the first trimester! Congratulations to you and h&h 9 months x

In my previous pregnancy I got a BFP at 8 dpo and I had implantation at 5 dpo.

Congrats

I found out at 9dpo too.... I was worried about chemical (and almost wish I hadn't tested so soon!) but so far so good.... Except for the sickness and tiredness!! :) x

No worries, good luck with the next 9 months! :flower:
