early labour signs

Hi

Just wondering if, in hindsight, anyone can share what symptoms or signs you had that you were in the early stages of labour?

Lots and lots of discharge, frequent bowel movements and masses of Braxton hicks.

With #1 I had period-like cramps when I went to bed and woke up to my waters breaking.

With #2 I had cramps, a sweep which made the cramps worse, my plug came away, contractions started and waters broke.

Both times things have happened quickly for me - from no signs at all to labour in a matter of hours.
